turned down a move to wolfsburg to sit on the bench and get 70k a week. This is depressingly true ...... football is sick, or maybe it was just Rafa .... what was he thinking of giving this clown 70k a week ....... the more you think about it, especially in the current economic climate, the sicker you feel. How many tickets had to be sold today to pay this moron's wages. Get rid of him.

Besides Suarez, everyone else was left wanting for pace.
WE had so many slow players who (1) took too long to play a simple ball like Aurelio (completely one footed) (2)took a first touch, never looked up and never played it to the person in space (i recalled many players in better positions but because of their one-footedness, a safe ball was played) (3) who had a terrible first touch and killed potential attacks.
another observation here but people wont like it.
If we are to play pass and move, Carragher should not be in the team until he learns to do that himself

and lucas, kuyt, cole can do one as well, in the summer.
these 3 players shud bring in about 15/18m.
the above money can be used to sign Adam, Young.

I think we're all just disappointed that we picked up a draw against a side we should have beaten had it been a normal week. We also must not overlook the fact that Suarez hit the frame twice, and was fouled far too many times for the referee to have taken so little action. However this was anything but a normal week, with most of the players playing 3 games in 7 days, including Lucas who played the full 90 for Brazil who had ten men for almost an hour, and Meireles who was sick. The fact that Agger, Gerrard, Cole, and Carroll are all injured didn't help either. The point I'm trying to make is that we had to rely on too many of our backup players in addition to fatigue/illness among the other starters.
Maxi or N'Gog are quite fine in games where you still have a fully fit Gerrard-Lucas-Meireles mid-field for eg, but they're exposed when they have to do too much work because ultimately they are sqaud players. The second half of the season is all about squad depth, as United have shown time and again. We shouldn't be looking to sell these players; we should be looking to buy first team replacements for them and keeping them as squad/cup players.
Jovanovic on the other hand should leave asap.

If we are eyeing for 4th spot, this is not acceptable... but if we are pleased with 5th or 6th, I'll take the point from this team.

Come on lads get real, man utd lost to wolves last week, we draw with wigan. Some times it just not your day and a team lower in the league get the win/or lucky not to lost (poxy post).
Anyone saying we can get 4th need to come back down to earth. 5 games ago we were in a relegation battle, now we are in the top half of the table and our current position is about right. We have a few quality players but a lot of average ones as well.
The teams in the top 5 positions have better squads than us so i'll be happy with 6th as kenny and clarke are doing a great job.
We didn't lose so it is a good result and come summer lets see who leaves and who is brought in then hopefully we might challenge for at least 4th again.
Anyone slating the owners, or kenny can go and support someone else. YNWA

Ngog needs to work harder. Fact is he came on yesterday and jogged around here and there, never putting pressure on defenders or keeper. This frankly is just not good enough for a prem team. If he adds this to his game he will progress into a prem footballer(maybe not us though). However in my view just doesn't seem to have the gumption. Suarez, Kuyt work really hard on this and it helps generate momentum and force mistakes. At 22 yrs old this should be part of his game.

a great spot and not one missed by many of in the Kop yesterday, he looked out of his depth and humped several times when not under pressure. To be fair he was just playing safe after coming back from injury. I will give him this game BUT he has to change quickly.
