Im not convinced we have a position for aquilani to play in anymore, lets face it he ain't taking Raul's place.

Raul proved me wrong. I did say I was prepared to give him a chance. Over the last 5-6 game she has started to prove his worth. Just shows you that Roy had no man management or tactical ability

You could see from the start he was a good player great touch always trying to make things happen and always looking to get in the attack IE terry mc dermott just at the start those things didnt come off now he has settled in he is scoring and those things he was trying are coming off long may it continue .

Really had high hopes for this fella when we signed him because I can see during his world cup that he added a spark to the portugese national team. He was occasionally good at the start of his career here and you could see him improving each week which is a good plus for us. We really haven't said that about a red player in a while. Lets hope he continues this fine vian of form.

His finish today was sensational, running away from goal with the ball coming across him...not many players can finish like that and he's proving to be a real gem.

I have to eat my hat as well here, cos I didn't rate him as an attacking midfielder based on his performances there under Roy. But WOW has he improved under Kenny. 4 goals in 5 games, great strikes with both feet. Class act.

I've always rated Raul, and was very happy when he signed for us! I tell you what I hated... I hated that Roy played him as a winger. Who the f' plays Raul as a winger?? It was never gonna work and that disappointed me.

Raul, I knew, he'd be a Liverpool star, he'll only get better.

I always never belittled Lucas either, so I'm really happy its working out well now for the lad.

Poulsen, I slagged him continuously but under Kenny, he seems to have come much better. Hats down to Poulsen, mostly because just like Konchesky, he faced a lot of slag, but remained strong and fought for himself.
