Getting back to the subject, what formation were we playing there prior to Suarez coming on. 3-5-1-1? Enterprising stuff frankly, and it shows that Kenny is aware of who we are playing, even if Stoke seemed to put 10 men behind the ball (which, let's face it, no one has done all season against Liverpool at Anfield).
Have to say though, that ball from Gerrard that Kuyt failed to put away convinced me he (SG) has to start at RM if we're going to fall back to 4-4-2. With him and Kelly feeding Carroll from that flank I can see a lot of balls hitting the back of the net. Obviously if we play 4-3-3 instead that doesn't count because I'd rather not be forced to pick Poulsen or Cole right now. It will be very interesting to see what Kenny does with the full squad available.
Word out to Agger - that run leading to the first goal should have silenced anyone who thinks he shouldn't be playing.
Obviously we won't be as extravagant at Chelsea on Sunday, and hopefully Suarez can play for 75 minutes or more. I assume he can speak Dutch, so putting him up front with Kuyt for now should be okay, never mind that for me Kuyt has always been a better player when he doesn't need to defend (funny how many LFC players we can say that of, eh?).
