I would play like this with cole given more freedom to drift out wide or push up with the strikers to help createmore chances

Does Suarez favour left or right side play, btw? Not really watched him a lot, I must confess.

What is up with this hating on lucas he will not be replaced by adams, adams is not a DM he has been caught out many times this season, yes he can run back and tackle like raul or gerrard but he is not DM.

So unless lucas is being replaced by world class DM just forget putting adams in team over him.

Agree, Carroll signing neither here nor there, to my mind. We needed width / creativity more than a colossus. I predict Carroll Suarez to be something of an anti climax. Either but not both, I think. Adam / Young signings would have produced a more attacking line up. Can't see why we didn't at least try to sign Adam before window closed. Who's really going to provide the service to the strikers now?
