Again it appears we become deluded or blinded because a guy has a decent season and is British. Honestly, would Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter or AC Milan ever bid 30 million for Carroll?
Never.
What is wrong with trying to find value somewhere in the world like a lot of these clubs do and we are talking about replacing the best striker in the game with a virtual unknown who has had a decent season at Newcastle. It's not even as if the guy is leading goalscorer in the league and has put everyone to the sword.
Liverpool to continue wasting money? I wouldn't bet against it if they rate Carroll at 30 million pounds.
