We simply can't let him go now. There is no time to get a replacement lined up especially as every players price would go up as we would have plenty of cash.

If we did sell i'd go for Llorente. He's big, strong, good in the air and could be a good partner for Suarez. But, like I say, we can't afford to sell Torres now even if it means sticking him in the reserves and letting him rot.

We won't sell him I'm 95% sure about that. It's to late to buy a top class striker. An up an coming one at that aswell. The striker where going to be replacing him with has got to be round the 20-24 mark

emp, got to disagree with you. We need European football next season, even if it's Europa and not CL. It's harder to attract players without it. That means winning Europa, or finishing high up enough in the league.

Both of those are clearly possible right now, but they're going to be harder to do without Torres.

The form of Chelsea and spurs has been so indifferent that if we'd made the right choice of manager in the summer playing the right brand of football we could of been closer to Chelsea at the moment.

Win next week and get a draw at Chelsea and we'd be in the hunt for a champions league spot.

I agree with you mate. That's why keeping torres till the end of the season is benefiting the club and not the player. He signed a contract, he accepted over 100grand a week. We gave him everything so now we want 6months from him. This is what kenny will be saying to him

Seriously Forlan? The guy is 31 and can only offer a couple of year if that, with that his price tag is going to be relatively high. As for Llorente, the board members of the club have announced he isn't for sale at any price. Leaving it till the summer will be the best option, and holding out for a minimum of £60 million. If Bent it worth £24 million and Carrol at £30 million, Torres is certainly worth over 60 million.
