"christ how easy could it be, the defence is there ,best striker in the world ,all you need to do is get in a few talented midfield players to create space and control and bingo your in..."

i agree protests do nothing but unsettle the team. so other than fund raising to try and buy the Club which would be ideal (yanks still have to want to sell) what do we do? Keep quiet as if nothing's wrong? I think the team will be more unsettled if we did nowt - THEY KNOW THE SCORE MORE THAN MOST and probably expect something! I'm sure they support us albeit quietly, so what's to lose?

well, protest in a footbal club will do nothing to the owners, if you have a hard head stubborn owner, he might even try make the fans more insane, he might try show you who is in control, he might do even more negative things. im lost for words as to what can be done. I doubt there is much you can do, legally, they own the club, they did it within the law. Unless of course we have some big named figures that negotiate with them to leave in peace.
I dont see it, maybe anfield should be shut down for three games, no fans visit. but how many fansa re prepared to do that, how united are we?

you are kidding yourself emp if you think the yanks have bags of cash for zola when he arrives but not for Rafa! If they wanted to change the manager they would just have a quick meeting and sack him! end of. So why would they reduce the team to tatters, un-doing all Rafa's good work in the process just to make rafa want out? Even if they had to pay him off it still would not be worth it! You're on another planet Emp. You really are making no sense whatsoever and you are becoming very tiresome...

Tiresome is a understatement, he has got no logic, or valid info to supports what he says, he lacks vision and his opinions are based on the fact he hates rafa and rafa is there to destroy liverpool fc

yeah not an easy situation is it Joe... I don't even pretend to know the answers but to act like lambs to the slaughter gets my goat (sorry this is starting to sound more like a documentary from the National Geographic Soc!) the local lads will have a better feel for what the general consensus is. we'll just have to wait and see what happens being the OOTS we are

unfortunately 4-ever there is not a lot we can do other than buy them out ....... we have to get behind the players on match days and forget about the owners till the match is over ....... they will know they are unpopular anyway so protesting will do nothing!
if we really intend to do negative things to drive them out of the club then boycotts are the only way to go ....... the only things that will bother them will be to hit them where it hurts - their wallets! but then, of course, we are doing great damage to the club ....... like i said we are pretty much stuffed until they are bought out ...... which is why a real serious attempt needs to be organised to buy them out ..... this share liverpool scheme could have been a goer if they had done it on a smaller price scale - if they released more shares but for less money then everyone could get involved ....... ffs which of us wouldn't love to have a liverpool share??? a real liverpool share would be worth every penny if costs lets be honest but most people can't afford thousands or hundreds of pounds
if there is enough interest it can be done ....... in fact dunk email me - you must have my email from my account on here and let us see if we can organise summat between us that everyone can get involved with!

Yeah that's true Trepie, the share scheme is out of most people's reach! If they were reduced to £100 I think they'd have been snapped up ages ago. One thing though is even if the fans did raise the cash, how much would the yanks need to bugga orf?

i dunno but i was thinking more like £10 a share ........ and look to raise £600 mill preferably more as anything left over would be invested ........ every share entitles the owner to a vote and do a similar thing to spanish clubs with a president etc but the president would not be paid a penny for the job ....... it can be done i have no doubt and as someone who earns their living through making and running websites i am going to make a start with a website for people to register an interest - if there is enough interest then i will get all the legal documentation etc drawn up
let's return the club back to being a club and not a business!! every penny raised would be invested in the club like it should be
