1 million poulson spearing will do the job

I would offer Spearing and a few million.

Spearing is never going to make it. He's not good enough.

Adam is a fine player. People keep looking ahead to the point when we are challenging and saying that he isn't good enough. Yes, that may be so but he would be adept at being a very, very good squad player. If a new player came in and took his place then if that new player became injured I'd be happy to see Adam step in.

That's the point here. We need a good squad filled with quality backup players and Charlie boy would be just that!

Now I'm not a Lucas basher. He has strengths and weaknesses but I'd be happy when we reach the point when Lucas is our 4th choice CM.
