the OOT debate again...sigh...really? it's f@cking redundant. anyone who brings it into the equation is an idiot. 70% of our squad are OOT as were the two managers previous to roy.

the winning of titles is no longer based on a field played by local people, it's won by international corporations who have a better ability to pull in revenue from new territories like china. last count there were 1bn OOT's there i believe. in other words, the game has changed. and it's going to get more and more different to what we saw in the 80's and before. get the f@ck over it

Here we go again. I think it's complete bullsh1t to suggest that the club is for scousers first and foremost. It's not plain and simple. I'm from the city many of my friends are not they love and understand the club as much as anyone. This 'we are scouse and elite' is embarrasing at the very least.

Alonso, Riise, Crouch and Arbeloa - 4 players that would walk right into our team now. And keeping faith with the likes of Babel Lucas Skrtel for too long.

Another big part of where it went wrong was the sale of Xabi Alonso, he might not have been the best player we had in the team but he was definately the most important. Liverpool went from second in the league to seventh in one season and the only real difference was Alonso, Big Sami and Arbeloa were no longer with us. I would go as far as to say if Liverpool had lost Gerrard or Torres they still would not of missed them or struggled as badly as when Xabi Alonso went, they say Liverpool is not a one man team well the facts prove we were when Alonso played...

OOTs?Alonso?Arbeloa?what absolute rubbish. If we continued to be successful after Souness left then Alonso pales into insignificance. If you want the answer i suggest you google Corinthians and Texas Rangers take a look at were they where before a certain c*nt bought them and where he left them once he was gone...bit of a coincidence that its happened here dont you think? And to think we sacked a manager who was defying the odds.

Whats OOT got to do with footballers, footballers are employees of the Club nothing more nothing less, they get well paid to do a job, if they never played for us they would play for someone else, merceneries and gypsies the lot of them...

I think we all have mates who support the Club and come from outside the City, I have never said they should be stopped or anything like that as they play an important role my point is the numbers should of been capped a while ago in order to protect the Club's Liverpool identity. I think what might be a good idea is to open an Out of Town and Foreign fan Posting where people can express there views freely and then leave it open, that way Out Of Town and Foreign fan opinions wont spill into other threads, lets face it like it or not there is an issue here...
