Why does every transfer headline say 'Roy/Kenny is waiting to hear from JH how much they will have to spend this window'.

Here's how it works Kenny says " Mr Henry how much can i spend?"

JH "15 million tops" . THEN WE BUY SOMEONE!? why are we so inactive????

Can't se us attracting the right quality to get us back in the top 5 or 6.
The type of players we need would cost £30-£40m each like Bale,Carroll,
Cahill,Coentrao but the reality would be more like Bothroyd,Adam,
Upson, this is the typical player we have signed over the last 20 years with the exception of Torres,Alonso,Reina

I hope not really like him good player and the price of 12 million Euro is nothing , I know it's only a rumour but would not suprise me that his agent started this previously as he clearly was not Hodgsons golden boy!.

I reckon about 20 million and before you say I am mad look at what Cahill and Shawcross would cost he must be as good as them ? Anybody you want to buy is stupid amounts of money.

i reckon he will go. not happy with being on the bench and skirtl plays all the time. if he does go, would love to replace him with shawcross/cahill/huth. much better in the air and are more commanding than agger. We need wingers more than anything though and I would settle for SWP this month and someone descent on the left. not sure who will come in jan though!

we should be keeping agger. hes young and more than good enough to be in our starting 11. he has been out with injury for a while. i expect him to be in the side a lot from now til the end of the season.

we need to sell our crappest players before we sell our good ones and we are already a bit short at CB

great point about selling our poor players 1st this is why we are in a relagation fight when you start selling players like alonso mash and arbeloa and dont replace them same with hypia we need to get shut of the rubbish and replace them with quality the only thing is i dont trust nesv theres players that we could of got on loan that would of done a better job ie bentley santa cruz yet we cant sign anyone and on the agger point he wont be going anywhere

Is anyone a little worried that with the transfer windown now 14 days old we haven't signed or publicly be seen to have an interest in anyone ?

Surely there were funds/plans in place for Hodgson when he was in charge ?

It's as if we wait for the 1st Jan to come around then start the process when we should of started it way back in September/October time...

We've known for along time we need a striker ....shouldn't we of had someone in mind or sorted out for the start of January ?

I can't believe that during the talks Kenny is going to have today he is going to ask for funds....surely they are there for him without asking???
