Yep hopefully its a carbon copy of us with dalglish aswell! Not that I wish bad luck on the man, but if it gives us an extra chance to do better next season then its only a good thing! Only difference is he got hazard while we got downing. . .

Would be interesting to see how Pep would do with another team?

Even though Roberto Di Matteo won the champ league I still dont think he's good enough to win the league or defend the champ league with Chelsea.

Why should they want pay huge compensation for another manager..
1 Year rolling contract is perfect..

Di Matteo for Chelsea is excellent news for us! Most of Chelsea's matches where they came away with results were more than lucky. Bayern and Barcelona home and away battered them and if they played again they would lose. They also didn't play good football under him. Sad truth is that Pep will probably end up there after a year. Dalglish was almost like the opposite of Di Matteo at times. Some good football but not the results (granted this did not happen all the time).

Strange one. Avb got sacked for taking chelsea down to 5th......rdm took them a place lower and gets a new contract?!

He did win the FA cup and champs league in fairness.

True, but RDM was never given that chance. He was sacked whilst still in both competitions and chelsea were in 5th. All i'm saying is that avb was very hard done by and RDM might be getting a bit too much credit.
