Definitely most improved player. Our SSS forward line is worthy of any club. Champions League, here we come!

Haven't they already voted? If yes, Hazard will win it as he was better until recently.

Yeah, think they've already decided, just not announced yet.

He's turned into a player that might drag us over the finish line.

Great to see him running to BR to celebrate the 1st goal. Shows there's a closeness there, and what a great man manager BR is

Now there's yet another one that was only fit to clean boots only a few months ago.

The two facedness and fickleness amongst some fans is almost unbelievably eye watering sometimes. eek

Oh, and lets not forget the "WTF was BR thinking of signing that awesome flop Joe Allen" too ey? mad

Nearly time to get shut of that 'nasty rat Suarez' for some in here too.

It's true though Muji!

Never fails to amaze me how a player can go from villian to hero and perhaps back again, all in the space of a few months.

Playing regular footie is the key, as has been proven over and over again in many and most cases

you are right.gotta be patient with our players...I have to admit I was the one not much supportive of Joe's signing at a time when on a tight transfer budget we were lacking fire power up front and 15m or whatever for someone who faded away after an impressive start and couldnt gaurantee himself a place in the starting 11.
Posted By: Growler Re: Sterling MOTM - 21/04/14 07:32 AM
I will however hold my hands up to having a few reservations about BR when we got him as the new manager, but I merely said 'the jury is out so lets give him time to prove himself", which he undoubtedly has now, regardless where we finish this season.

Top man, top manager.

Not many agree with me though usually.
I tend to look into the bigger picture and a bit deeper into things, rather than just the glitz and glamour of today.

Gets me into trouble sometimes, but does this REALLY look like a GROWLER that gives a 'flying one? whistle

Our new /young players fall into three categories:
Proven: Sturridge, Sterling, Henderson, Flannagan, Sakho, Coutinho, Suso
Jury out: Allen, Alberto, Borini, Ilori, Yesil
Should be offloaded: Cissokho, Aspas, Assaidi, Moses
Spacial mention: Our manager who will become a Liverpool Great.

I thin Allen has proven himself to be a very useful squad player. He's been good this season, much more than he's been poor, which I'm pretty sire he hasn't.

Not sure why. He made one error I can recall the whole game and that was not the place to be receiving the ball from anyway. I really like the way he plays. There is nothing at all fancy about him- he defends well his positioning is spot on and plays a simple ball out which 99% of the time finds its man and is always the right pass. He basically does his job as a proper defender 100%.

flannagan is far from proven
Posted By: WNP Re: Sterling MOTM - 21/04/14 09:16 AM
agreed. I like Sakho. There was a few dodgy moments, but most of them were when he was passed to in a dodgy area. His passing is good, and usually he looks for the forward pass rather than the sideways pass.

He hasn't really had much of a run in the team this season, so a bit of rustiness is to be expected; I imagine with a bit more game time and experience in the team, that the mistakes will reduce.
