Looks like this fits Klopp well with rumours that Keita's will be offered an extension of his contract. We also bought 2 first team players who played against us, ie, Diaz and Nunez. Quite interesting, stats are one thing but Klopp wants to see live performances. Thoughts?

Keita has had many years to prove himself and all we have is a few decent performances our central midfield worries me. It may be we have to struggle through this season with a major rebuild next but forget the title this coming year to be fair city are probably unstoppable anyway

From the reports Klopp is happy with Keita, it makes sense to give him a new deal, to replace him would cost allot, we already fairly weak in MF and need re-enforcements.

You say we are weak in MF and need reinforcement but you think we should extend Keita's contract? How does giving Keita a new deal reinforce our weak MF?

Our best MF players are getting older, with Henderson, Fab, Thiago all a year older, add to that Milner, so I expect they will probably play less games this year due to the demands, Keita is 27, so is in his prime a player, so letting him go would weaken our MF, we need to keep him and add another CM who can do the running Klopp expects to strengthen the MF.

Could we not try and swap Keita & Cash for the likes of Bellingham?
Dortmund were after Keita and he knows Bundesliga well it would solve the problem of Keita's contract expiring next year and us potentially having to pay more for Bellingham next summer, who is supposed to be a Klopp target.

Our midfield is just not good enough to have a sustained challenge at the PL & CL with injury and age issues. We do need to bring somebody in this transfer window...are there any likely loans out there?

Looks like Dortmund do not want to sell Bellingham this summer
