How good a season do you guys think Matip is having?

I’ve heard some say he has been outstanding and maybe even better than VVD but he definitely could have done better for City’s second on Sunday.

He's been good and the only thing he could have done better for City's second is do nothing, maybe Alisson could have saved it. The ball was too fast to head it out intentionally

Matip has been brilliant this season. I like his forward runs with the ball from defence.

Yeah this is brilliant, just by making a run forward he leaves 2/3 midfielders and defenders with awkward decisions to make usually creating a bit of space for someone else to receive the ball and turn.
