It might work for England as they have a few top RB which is prompting the debate for TAA in the squad and maybe at MF.

Agree. I think a lot of people want him in midfield, not because he is good in midfield as nobody really knows, but because he is not a very good defender. His skills is close to Beckham though not that level yet, and in those days, teams were playing with wingers in a 442 formation, which is less and less now and which Klopp doesn't like. In fact most teams now play with one striker...if any.

Not sure about that, best attacking RB, most probably, but a RB is supposed to be a defender first, which he is not great, but in Klopp system, full backs attack much more than usual

You don't need another right back if we play 3 at the back.

Which is why we have won things but England won't.

We need to unearth another RB or buy one that is worthy of playing in the first team before moving Trent to midfield. I don't think it will work personally because most of his passes and crosses are direct, in midfield he needs to be more inventive and cute and I don't think he has that in his locker.

I would say, Trent's defend is decent. Not world class or not excellent, but much better than most people would have thought.

I agree, to me he is more a Beckham type midfield, ie, not playing central, but on the wing
