For next season the back up to the regulars needs to be stronger.
Curtis Jones looks like he is going the right way but Ox, Shaq and Keita cannot be relied on to stay fit and have therefore not been relied upon to step up. It speaks volumes that Milner was used recently ahead of others in the middle.
We need another trustworthy player in the middle who will eventually take on what Henderson does for us now. Leadership qualities and an engine to go with it over ability may be the order of the day. For me the player that fits the bill and already plays in a hard working team is Kalvin Phillips at Leeds.
Certainly bring Harvey Elliott back in and release Shaq and Ox.
The return of VVD will be worth 10 more points next season. A fully balanced midfield with face back up and Fabinho in destroyer mode is worth another 10.

Looks like we are showing an interest in Gonclaves who is having a great season at Sporting Lisbon scoring 20 league goals so far and they have the Portugese Primeira Liga already wrapped up.

Feck! Ox would have to go f.cuk things up and score today...he'll be touted now as the old chestnut "Like a new player". I guess they can try that about VVD, Gomez, Matip and Keita as well.
