You do realize that our Brazilian players, African lads, are all on holiday until August and will not be for for the season until September.

By September, going by how many points we got and City got last season we will be out of the title race. But hey like JWH reckons we have AOC and Lallana to get the title for us.

Dortmund was a typo, too busy getting wound up by you Fsg apologists to think clearly.

How many points we got and how many city got? You do realise there was one point difference don’t you. I’m not really sure how even you could get that so wrong?

There’s only two people not thinking clearly and that’s you and tiresome. I’d rathe spangles than you two because at least we knew he was on a wind up. The shitte coming from you two is actually quite sad and even more sad as it’s actually what you think and not a wind up.

Thinking about what? What I have been saying is we are very light in the CF department and don't think Origi is good enough to rotate with Firmino, though he did well at the end of last season. If Mane gets injured because of too many games, especially after the AFCON, we will have a problem though maybe Ox might deputise, though Klopp likes him in central midfield. This is not new and IMO we should have looked for replacement 6 months ago, so it's not about 3-4 days in the transfer window, City has a bigger squad than ours and have already reinforced. Ideally we should have any new player as we start our pre season more so because our 3 forwards will start very late after their international tournaments. How does this equate to moaning? If you have a different view say so with your arguments instead of name calling.

We’d all like new players but the window is only just open ffs! You’re talking like it’s shut already. So City have bought a player and so have Spurs. Means nothing to what we will do and who we might buy.

Yet to you that’s it. Season over already because those two players were signed and we haven’t signed anyone yet. There’s over a month left. You don’t know we won’t buy any more than I know we will so why not just relax and see what happens rather than fill every thread (with your brain a like mate welshie) with the same old negative drivel?

As for calling you names? Where? If that’s all you’ve got to justify your tiresome negativity in every thread then it says it all.

Don't you think we should sign a top forward who would start the pre season with us because all our 3 forwards will come late and might not be fit enough to start the season? If you don't, fine it's your view, but I don't agree. Last year we made our purchases or at least started the negotiations relatively early with both Fabinho and Keita joining very early and Alisson deal was being negotiated. I don't see the same this year which is making me think that we wont go for a top forward, I wish to be wrong but more often than not I haven't for example when I felt we wont buy anybody in Jan or won't win the league when City got ahead. You called it negative, I call it being realistic from what I observed.

Last but not least, look at the FU we did while negotiating the VVD deal, they wanted 75m which we ended up paying but 6 months late and without much negotiation in Jan.

I don't see why the Brazilian's shouldn't be back if they've got 5 weeks off (Not counting the charity shield).

Why the panic regarding transfers, it will be a week or so the sales will start, could it mean the player/players we may be interested in are with their National side still??

When the Afcon and Coppa are done and we are not lining anyone up then we will see panic - maybe..

Ppl talk VVD sale not going through until Jan, we benefitted from the delay - Soton played VVD thus he stepped toward match fitness as he was still injured in the summer..

Brewster - I have seen him for the youth sides and in the flesh at U23's, also England when he got the Golden boot.. He is in great company regarding golden boot winners at the same age... He works across the front line, pacey and obviously get's goals, if you look at the England performance when he won the golden boot, he has the instinct or luck (some will say), to be in the right place at the right time... Even if he doesn't work for us the sale value will be good - he was wanted by a number of clubs before he signed contract extension..

Now the question I have - which may upset ppl, I recall Jan this year - Keita had a warning shot regarding his attitude, if you recall he was being pushed for loan/sale suggested even take a loss..

I heard that Kieta maybe still on the loan/sale list.. Apparently his English is rather poor, despite 2 years of time to learn some English.. I believe the club financed some extra tuition for him, but his application wasn't the best shall we say... However Keita started to look good on his return to the side, I hope he kicks on and stays, will we see...

Only concern is Salah and Mane, if one or both countries reach the final, they will miss all pre season and come back unfit for the first league games which is worrying as we will be contesting 2 trophies by then.

Every summer these dull debates occur. Not even a CL win can slow it down.

- FSG are good owners, not great
- They're businessmen, not locals, fans or oil rich sheiks.
- Klopp doesn't get unlimited cash and decides not to buy, IMO.
- We have an ok net spend. We can thank Klopp for getting us where we are. We need to invest to stay there.
- We'll never compete with City and FSG know. It doesn't make sense to when they've rigged the game.
- Klopp's clearly an Einstein level genius when it comes to players. He'll get what he needs. If he doesn't and leaves, then we can the picketing.

Things could be a lot worse, we could've given Rashford £300k a week (or have Sanchez on £390k). Megalolz.

It's a concern and I've stressed we need a top player as competition for the front 3. If anything they'll come back match fit, but maybe tired, especially as the season runs on and we were lucky with injuries last season.

We do need better than Origi as cover.

3) It is 4th July today, one month until that game
4) The African cup of nations finished on July 19th, if Salah or Mane he through to the final we will not see them until September at the earliest.
5) Brazil play in the final of copa America July 7th, no chance our Brazilian players will be fit for charity shield or the early August games.
6) The transfer window closes on 8th August, we have a month for new signings.
7) JWH stated that AOC and Lallana will be like new signings for us
8) Our rivals have already started signing new players, we have not.
9) Our first full competitive games will involve Brewster and Origi up front.

Worried yet?

So looking forward to bumping this later. But here is a starter. The season starts for us August 9th. We play Norwich on the Friday night. Any real fan would be waiting for this with excitement. You don't. You skip the finer points that separate us from say someone like Spurs. If it hadn't been for those 2 goals we would have lost that final. So lucky to have Klopp and FSG in charge and not you.
