I was coming home on the Merseyrail a few months ago...not even a match day btw.....and this lad was wearing an LFC shirt, and this gang of about 8 tw@ts, supporters ....(word used loosely) of which club I neither know or care, thought it would be good fun to chant vile chants and hurl abuse at this poor unsuspecting kid who was on his own, for the 10 minute ride from Lime St to Green Ln in Birken'ed.

I'd have loved to have laid into this trash, but even this snarling angry beast couldn't have fought off 8 pieces of filth that were probably half my age anyway....B A S S T U R D S !

Just relating to growlers tale I remember a year or two back I went to manchester for a meal with my girlfriend I was wearing a cream jacket that had a small LFC logo I had forgotten about the logo it's just a smart jacket to me. Bear in mind I am a middle aged man in my fifties in I think cafe rouge restaurant in thr centre if manchester hardly the red lion in Salford. Anyway this guy walked up to me and said I think (my hearing is poor) you scouse bathtub so I protested in a most polite way and his two friends pulled him away that was the evening ruined. So wearing these things in public is always a danger the other danger is some bore sitting next to you on the train explaining his views on Liverpool FC that's happened to me too I prefered the angry man united person
