16-year-old winger Harvey Elliott has completed his transfer from Fulham to Liverpool with the news being announced on the official Liverpool FC website.
One of the most highly-rated youngsters in the country, Elliott, an England Under 17 starlet, made his debut for Fulham last September in the League Cup aged just 15 years and 174 days to become Fulham’s youngest ever first team debutant.
In May, he came off the bench in a Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers to become the the youngest player ever to feature in the Premier League aged just 16 years and 30 days.
Having made 3 first team appearances for Fulham, Elliott makes the switch to Anfield after reportedly turning down offers from Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG.
He is included in Liverpool’s squad for today’s friendly against Napoli in Edinburgh and will take part in the Reds’ training camp in Evian, France.
Fulham had hoped that Elliott would sign his first professional contract with them when he turns 17 next April. The Cottagers will be due compensation from Liverpool after securing his signature. As yet, there is no word on that.
