Speculation linking Divock Origi with a possible transfer to Wolves has resurfaced.
Supporters will have noticed an increase in speculation surrounding the Liverpool striker which is as a result of both his agent and the club trying to move him on.
Wolves boss Nuno Espírito Santo wants to add some attacking options to his squad, preferably during the January transfer window, and it is understood that he has made enquiries regarding the 23-year-old’s availability. He is, of course, available for transfer and while a loan option may have to be considered by Liverpool at some point, ideally the Reds want to sell him as he doesn’t figure in Jürgen Klopp’s long term plans.
Origi snubbed Wolves in the summer so you would expect him to do the same again next year if a better option, in his opinion, presents itself to him.
Liverpool set a valuation of around £27million for Origi in the summer but absolutely nobody was interested in doing business at that price.
Turkish giants Galatasaray and Besiktas have also been heavily linked but most chatter has been about loan proposals.
