Sadio Mané is a doubt for Liverpool’s game away to Burnley on Wednesday.
The Liverpool winger needed stitches in a gash in his foot after sustaining the injury during Sunday’s Merseyside derby.
Mané – along with Andy Robertson who was left with a dead leg after the game – will both be assessed by the club’s medical team before the boss can make a decision whether or not to include them in his plans.

Speaking at today’s pre-match press conference, Klopp said: “Sadio and Robbo, we need to have another look today.
“Sadio had a really awful cut on his foot, it needed to be stitched.
“It’s okay. He is walking around here now in flip-flops, and we don’t play in flip-flops.
“Today, at this moment, he is not ready, but we will see later.
“With Robbo it’s not that serious, but like with Sadio we need to have a look.”
