Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster is wanted on loan by Crystal Palace, claim reports today.
Palace have apparently made an official enquiry direct to Anfield regarding the availability of the 19-year-old rookie following suggestions that Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp may be willing to loan him out during the second half of the season to help gain valuable first team experience.
If the boss was to entertain offers, such a decision is unlikely to happen until after Liverpool’s League Cup Quarter Final tie against Aston Villa on Tuesday 17th December. If Liverpool progress, Klopp will no doubt want to retain him.
Both clubs face off against each other today in the Premier League so it’s possible that Palace boss Roy Hodgson will have an informal conversation with the boss to see what the score is.

Brewster has made two starts for the Reds this season, both of which came in the League Cup against MK Dons and Arsenal. He is highly rated by a lot of people within the club and also by the fans.
He recently returned from England Under 21 duty but he did receive some criticism for a lacklustre performance in the 2-1 defeat by the Netherlands.
Brewster definitely needs to see some game time and a loan would enable that. However, he may be called upon over the coming weeks and while the Reds are challenging on several fronts, we can’t imagine a loan would be sanctioned.
Championship sides Swansea City and Bristol City are also known admirers. There’s also been some interest from Germany.
