Liverpool have had a £57million transfer bid for Naby Keïta rejected by RB Leipzig.
The Reds knew the bid would be dismissed but tabled it to get the ball rolling.

Keïta has his heart set on a transfer to Anfield and is willing to forfeit loyalty bonuses to make it happen. By submitting a transfer request he would do just that but before that happens, it wouldn’t surprise us if another offer goes in first.
The 22-year-old dynamic box-to-box midfielder has been on Jürgen Klopp’s ‘wanted list’ for some time and although Leipzig insist they won’t sell, KOPTALK sources report that Liverpool officials are confident that a deal can be struck.
We would urge supporters to remain calm with regards our interest in Keïta and also Virgil van Dijk. Both deals look more likely than unlikely at the present time based on information that is being supplied to us. It’s too early to say what the outcomes will be but we’re certainly more upbeat than most just now.
