Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah says he’s happy with the club’s transfer business this summer and doesn’t believe further additions are needed.
The 26-year-old Egyptian was put on the spot and was asked who he would like to see recruited before the transfer window closed on Thursday and he politely replied that he thought the current squad was good enough.
Salah said: “No one, really. I am very happy with the squad we have and feel very comfortable.”
Liverpool supporters however are hoping that there may still be a shock signing with the likes of Christian Pulisic and Nabil Fekir still on their wish list.
There are suggestions that the Reds are trying to secure an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to land Pulisic next year while we understand that Lyon have a ‘take it or leave it’ offer on the table for Fekir.
We certainly wouldn’t rule out possible activity despite the local media playing down the idea. If Lyon are willing to renegotiate some kind of medical insurance premiums into a deal for Fekir, then that for example, could still proceed. If Lyon refuse to budge, then Fekir will have no choice but to stay where he is.
One thing we do know is that there will be further outgoings.
