Alisson, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino will all report back for pre-season training on Monday following their extended summer breaks.
The Liverpool trio were handed extra time off due to their additional international commitments. Alisson and Firmino were involved with Brazil who went on to win the Copa America which resulted in Alison winning the Golden Glove after keeping five clean sheets while team-mate Firmino scored a couple of goals and provided three assists during the tournament.
Salah was in action with Egypt who crashed out of the Africa Cup of Nations at the last 16 stage following a shock 1-0 defeat to South Africa which resulted in the sacking of head coach Javier Aguirre. Salah, who had been ill in the run up to that match, was on target in the group-stages against Congo and Uganda.
The trio have missed all of Liverpool’s pre-season fixtures so far this summer and the US Tour. They will also miss today’s friendly against Italian outfit Napoli. They will, however, be involved in Liverpool’s summer camp in Evian, France.
