Liverpool Football Club has today been linked with Burnley defender Michael Keane.
The British media claim that the 24-year-old centre-back is under consideration by Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is reported that Liverpool ‘could do battle’ with Everton and Manchester City to try and land the defender at the end of the season.
Reports suggest that Liverpool would have to table an offer in the region of £20million to try and secure a transfer for the highly-rated defender who was selected for international duty by England last week.
KOPTALK revealed last September that Liverpool were tracking Keane and that Jürgen Klopp had personally been scouting him, whether or not we’ll step up with an offer though, we’ll have to wait and see.

‘Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is monitoring Burnley centre-back Michael Keane … Keane starred against the Reds during last month’s 2-0 defeat at Turf Moor but his name had already been put forward to the manager in the summer by the Anfield scouting department,’ – KOPTALK, 27.09.16
