Liverpool officials insist that the club will not be making a January transfer move for Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.
The British media continues to suggest that the 25-year-old remains a target for Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp and that a January bid looks likely; club insiders claim this is not the case.
In relation to a possible move, a club source told KOPTALK: “No. Definitely not. He has been looked at but he’s not marked for a January attempt.”
Asked if Fraser could be considered in the summer and the source continued: “That’s not something that I can answer.
“If he rediscovers the form that he showed last season, then possibly, but as things stand he is not being discussed.”
The Scotland international’s contract expires in the summer so Bournemouth may receive some cheeky offers over the coming weeks. Valued at around £25million last summer, a fee of around £10million could tempt The Cherries into an early sale once the January window opens.

Liverpool’s Harry Wilson is on loan at Bournemouth and could be included in a deal if the Reds reversed their stance regarding their interest in Fraser. However, it sounds like he needs to significantly up his game for him to be considered again by the Liverpool manager.
It’s worth nothing that our source refused to comment on Liverpool’s interest in Bournemouth centre-back Nathan Aké.
Information posted on our members’ website last summer claimed that Liverpool made a late enquiry during the last window regarding the 24-year-old’s availability. We would advise that you continue to keep an eye on reports surrounding his future. He has been linked with a possible move to Tottenham following the appointment of Jose Mourinho as their new manager. That makes sense as Aké was at Chelsea during Mourinho’s second spell at Stamford Bridge.
