Klopp responds to Anfield exit rumours following Juventus claim

Jurgen Klopp

Jürgen Klopp says rumours that he is considering leaving Liverpool for Juventus are “bullsh*t”.

The Italian giants are looking for Massimiliano Allegri’s successor and if you choose to believe the reports, Klopp has been shortlisted as a possible candidate.

Some claims originating from Italy have even gone as far as to suggest that the Liverpool manager would be willing to quit Anfield, for the Allianz Stadium especially if he loses Saturday’s Champions League final against Tottenham.

Klopp, however, is having none of it.

“Of course it’s a league that I like, Italy is a beautiful country, but these rumours about me going to Juventus are bullsh*t!” said the boss.

“There’s nothing true about it, I’m not going to leave Liverpool.

“I know Serie A very well, I follow it and I like it but I am going to stay at Liverpool.”

Maurizio Sarri, Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola and Simone Inzaghi have also all been linked with the position.
