Jürgen Klopp has revealed that he has held talks with Liverpool striker Divock Origi in the hope of injecting some confidence into the 21-year-old.
The Reds’ boss praised the striker after he came on as a sub during the 3-1 win over Arsenal during which he created a goal for Georginio Wijnaldum but more is still expected of him.
Klopp said: “Divock was good [against Arsenal]. It was a nice sign.
“We’ve had a lot of talks in the last few weeks about what he needs to do. It was a very important sign for him and for us.”

Despite the public praise for Origi, Liverpool continue to be linked with Celtic’s Moussa Dembélé with the most recent suggestions stating that the 20-year-old will be watched by Anfield scouts when Celtic take on Rangers in tomorrow’s Old Firm derby.
