Dominic Solanke’s call up to the England squad could cost Liverpool £10million due to the pending compensation dispute following his transfer from Stamford Bridge to Anfield in the summer.
The 20-year-old was signed on a free transfer by Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp but as he is under the age of 24 Chelsea are entitled to compensation which is yet to be finalised.

Chelsea have previously rejected a £3million offer from Liverpool so the matter is set to be decided by a tribunal and with Solanke now being called up by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate, the Blues are hoping to receive a cheque for around £10million, especially as he was also awarded the Golden Ball at the Under 20 World Cup earlier this year.
No date has been set for the matter to be resolved.
