Former Liverpool FC manager Brendan Rodgers will challenge Jürgen Klopp for Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke, claim reports today.
The highly-rated 19-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Liverpool are believed to have made some enquiries about whether or not he would be interested in a move to Anfield.

However, it has been reported that Celtic have entered the race to land the youngster along with RB Leipzig after he apparently rejected another contract offer from Chelsea.
Hinting at his interest, Rodgers said: “I took Dominic into Chelsea when he was eight years of age.
“I am delighted for him and the career he has had up until now as a young player, he is a fantastic talent.
“It is unfortunate that he is maybe not going to renew his contract at Chelsea because it is a great club, but he maybe deems that his future lies elsewhere.”
It has been suggested that Rodgers is looking at Solanke as a replacement for Moussa Dembele who continues to be linked with Liverpool and a number of other clubs.
