Atletico Madrid are the latest club said to have a strong interest in Alexandre Lacazette.
Reports originating from Spain claim that Atletico are interested in signing the 25-year-old Lyon striker despite their current transfer ban which they hope will be lifted by the summer.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with Lacazette over the last couple of months so any genuine interest in him from other European clubs will, of course, be a concern for supporters who are hoping to see him recruited by Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp.
Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Celtic’s Moussa Dembélé also continue to be linked with possible moves to Anfield. Liverpool scouts watched Dembélé in action yesterday and he would appear to be more of a realistic option with few believing Liverpool are ambitious enough for Aubameyang.
