In the last week I have spotted 4 rats in our garden, 2 large buggers and 2 smaller ones.

Our cat of 12 years passed away in March, so I imagine the lack of a predator has caused them to make our garden a new area to live.

I have laid down a couple of traps to no avail with peanut butter as bait and I have also spent 30quid on poison from Rentokill, blue grain which they are not touching.

Does anyone have any foolproof way of exterminating the critters?
Aside from buying a air rifle with night vision to shoot them.

We will be getting some more cats this week, a kitten and his mum from a rescue centre, but they will be kept in for at least 8 weeks.

Air rifle sounds good to me chief.
Double barreled shotgun even better.

You need to figure out why they're coming in first, compost? and you should be able to let the mother cat out sooner then that, just keep the kitten inside. Once she starts p1ssing all over the place they'll start to stay away.
You can buy predator pee (don't want to know how they get it) it worked for porcupines.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Wonder if they took that scumbag to Dubai with them....and lobbed him out at 38,000 feet?
