In the last week I have spotted 4 rats in our garden, 2 large buggers and 2 smaller ones.
Our cat of 12 years passed away in March, so I imagine the lack of a predator has caused them to make our garden a new area to live.
I have laid down a couple of traps to no avail with peanut butter as bait and I have also spent 30quid on poison from Rentokill, blue grain which they are not touching.
Does anyone have any foolproof way of exterminating the critters?
Aside from buying a air rifle with night vision to shoot them.
We will be getting some more cats this week, a kitten and his mum from a rescue centre, but they will be kept in for at least 8 weeks.
