Liverpool close to finalising summer deal for Leipzig’s Ibrahima Konate

from the little i know of him his a good player. his injury record doesnt look to great frown

Yeah, for someone so young he has been injured allot, would be a worry, as VvD & Gomez are both coming back from serious injuries, so may miss games with the usual injuries players pick up from coming back from a long time out, so we need decent backup that is available.... we don't want another Matip type injury prone player.

Does this mean we won't be signing Kabak?

Why get another cb with a bad injury record. Aren´t Matip and Gomez enough?

Yes the worst choice would be to buy someone with a good injury record. That player might not get injured at all.

Having a good injury record doesn't mean you won't get injured at Liverpool. Matip's record wasn't that bad before he came.

hes only 21 sometimes players grow out of injuries Gerrard was injured a lot when he was young

How good could Phillips be alongside a fit Van Dyke ? Granted, if Gomez n Matip were to be out.

if he was quicker he would be a awesome defender but with our highline his not the answer
