What is important to understand is that the club generated 292m cash from operations over 3 seasons until 18/19, before players sales and depreciation / amortisation out of which 15m was paid as interests. Therefore 278m of positive cash went into the club. That's revenues minus expenses including player wages.
Over that period, player purchases were financed partly through player sales but also required about 105m from the club. Therefore after player transactions, the club should still have about 173m available (278-105) before the 19/20 financial year. A big proportion of that money was used for the reimbursement of debt. Now, those saying we dont have money are either lying or dont know, the accounts are clear.
