We missed out on the invincibles record a long time ago, but, would you take what we've achieved in this season (or might achieve), versus their invincible side? Just hypothetical for fun and games.

Just to repeat, we could end the season with 100+ points, 18 wins in a row, most games won in the league and least games to win the league.

Arsenal W26, Draw 12 and Lost 0. With 14 games won in a row.

Only if we go beyond 100 pts, the current record

Arsenal's achievement is greater than 100 pts imo, remaining unbeaten is almost impossible with clubs fighting you for the title, clubs fighting with everything to stay in the league and other hurdles such as injuries and fixture pile up.

Yep, and your peers not being able to beat you just shows how dominant you have been, like the City result last week, they beat us fair and square, so we know on their day, they can beat us, if we would have beat them convincingly home and away, that shows real dominance over our biggest rivals.

100+ points is an amazing achievement, but unbeaten is something very special and very rare.

12 draws though...that's a team who set up shop to not get beat 1st instead of going for the win.

30 wins
2 losses
2 draws
so far, absolutely bonkers and with it, making it so much harder the ChiComm Virus!

Arsenal 03/04 season
90 pts - GF 73 / GA 26
26 wins
12 draws
0 losses

Liverpool 19/20 season so far
92 pts - GF 75 / GA 26
30 WINS
2 draws
2 losses

We've surpassed their:
Points total
Wins Amount
Goals Scored

With 4 games left to play, everything else is gravy!

Our 78/79 League win was a record under the 2 points for a win system with 68 points. 30 wins 8 draws and 4 defeats in a 42 game season.

City managed 32 wins 4 draws and 2 defeats when they got 100 points. If that was 2 points for a win it would have equalled our 68 points with 4 games fewer played.

As it stands on a 2 points per win basis we are currently on 62 points with 4 games to go.

Three wins and a draw from here would eclipse all records.

At least now it's clear, we just need to win all our remaining games

actually most of their draws came against teams that set up shop against them. I remembered the games against Arsenal during that era was us defending for majority of the game and hoping we could nick one on the counter
