Origi and mane will take the plaudits (rightly)

But I thought shagiri caught the eye too he is devastating when at his best he just needs more consistency

He did really well considering he's barely played. Hope he has a part to play, especially this month's schedule.

If I was feeling critical I'd say Lovren still costs us goals and Lallana doesn't cut it in that position. Or any other position.

First game in months for him and he shows more intensity and instinct than some of the regulars. Fantastic performance.

Shaqiri tekkers tonight were fantastic. Second half he was as good as Mane was first half. Impressive to complete 90 minutes after so long out. He won't start Saturday but he is getting some valuable time. He showed tonight why he is a 40m+ player.

Agreed.

Trent did some good things tonight, but was also sloppy. His good luck pass at the end of the first half gifted Everton the opportunity to score their 2:nd.

Could also have been sent straight off or gotten booked twice for some unnecessary antics.

But he is young, it was a derby and he is still learning a lot as he goes along.

Lallana though looks past it. teed them up for their 1:st goal by giving the ball back into the pitch - he was facing the wrong direction - probably due to not being up to speed.

Hope it is time for Keita to come into action on Saturday and stake a claim too.

Hopefully Shaq puts a little pressure on Salah to get back to his best quickly. We need all we can get in the last game of CL.

Biggest positive was resting players like Salah and Bobby and we still played some great football. Some of it was sloppy and the conceeding is worrying Shaq and Origi were fantastic.

We'll probably playing the tea ladies vs Villa in the cup and I hope they take the World Club thing lightly, rotate everyone, take in a bit of sun and rest up for Leicester. We could actually be fresher during December than City.

i thought Shaq played very well.we look a better side when Salah doesn't play.Shaq is a big game player and better suited to us at the moment.....should have sold Salah in the summer when his stock was high.

TAA is great going forward but his defending is not good.

Yeah, but he is also trying too often for the long cross.

Lately some of them have been misses, and others have been intercepted.

He is looking a bit too confident and sloppy.

I bet VvD will have a word with him and put him back in his place.

We need to start racking up some clean sheets soon. Can't rely on always scoring twice or more to get the win.

Looks to me that this is a tactical change to bypass our midfield, we've been doing that a lot lately. I am not sure but don't think he was responsible for any of the goals conceded against the Bluenoses

Yes he was.

He tried the long pass just before halftime and missed it.

Teed up Everton for their 2-1 goal.
