Who's ready for the return of the real football this weekend? I can't wait!

Honestly, it's not just about 90 minutes, it's about the build up, the other games, the live coverage and all the programmes around it all.

I'm lost on a weekend without domestic football.

Yep absolutely up for it.

Away game on a Saturday 3pm so a rare occasion for us. Couple of injury worries but we should still cope. Won the last 2 or 3 at Palace but they are always tough. I think they have a couple of players they are sweating on too.

Would be nice to come out of this weekend the same as going into it but with City playing Chelsea there is a chance to go double figures in front of one or both.

A win will put the pressure on both of them although I expect City to be able to handle Chelsea at home.

But 1230 it all kicks off and I think West Ham are going to gain a lot of temporary fans for a couple of hours when they play Spurs.

Any away win there no matter how boring is going to be seen as a major victory for Moanyo. Spurs not won away in PL since Jan so cannot understand why they are slight odds on favourites for this one.

I'm ready, hope our team is? they won't have a full week's rest now until the day after New Years Day!

12 games in 40 days = 3.33 days rest between the next game

Inbetween all of this is this World Club Cup in Qatar which is 3,500 miles away = 7 1/2 hour flight for 2 games.

It's 11 games not counting the WCC. The West Ham game has been postponed.

But all in all too many games.

And then there's the early January FA Cup game coming in too, I think?

But we should count the WCC because it's probably the biggest energy decrease with travelling!

1) 23/11/19:- Palace v Liverpool
2) 27/11/19:- Liverpool v Napoli
3) 30/11/19:- Liverpool v Brighton
4) 04/12/19:- Liverpool v Everton
5) 07/12/19:- Bournemouth v Liverpool
6) 10/12/19:- Salzburg v Liverpool
7) 14/12/19:- Liverpool v Watford
8) 18/12/19:- Winner Match 2 v Liverpool (World Club Cup)
9) 21/12/19:- Either 3rd Place Play Off or Final
10) 26/12/19:- Leicester v Liverpool
11) 29/12/19:- Liverpool v Wolves
12) 02/01/20:- Liverpool v Sheff Utd

There is then the possibility of the League Cup Qtr Final game @Aston Villa on the 6th January being played same day as a Semi Final. So it could be worse:-

13) 06/01/20:- Aston Villa v Liverpool
14) 11/01/20:- Spurs v Liverpool

14 games in 49 days, we won't get a full weeks rest until after the Spurs game!
