Reading reports that Klopp wants to sign Timo Werner in January. This, to me, makes a lot of sense. Bobby/Salah/Mane play every game and when one is injured the drop in class is very very noticeable. Injuries are inevitable as we push for Premier/Champions league titles. This guy seems like the perfect solution!!

imo it wont happen. if we were goimg to buy him we would have done it in the summer. the only way i can see this happening is if they feel the confident they had in brewster was miss placed or think his injuries will have set him back further then they firs thought it would

I think we can get him cheaper now as he reportedly signed a contract with a low release clause so could make sense?

Good player if we do get him but I won’t hold my breath.

Usually we will hear that the market is hard around Christmas time every year.

I will be very surprised if we signed anybody in January.

It was different when we signed VvD. That gaping hole in central defence was obvious to everyone to see. The only thing that will make us sign a player like Werner now is if we actually hit an injury crisis and are forced to make a move.

Timo once stated that he would only go to Bayern, if he has to leave.

He was on his last contract year so we would have got him relatively cheap even then. They would have accepted then what they will get now and they have increased his wages in the process. However, we have Origi and Brewster, not sure what would have changed now, unless we want to sell someone to get some funds

He'll go to Bayern. German players are so boring and predictable - they all work towards a one-horse Bundesliga.

Maybe the push we need for the title run in, if we got him for round £30 million, that would be great value if it helps deliver the title, especially with all the games we are going to play, I hope we sign him.
