Danny Rose now saying Liverpool fans provoked Sterling. Imagine that, a multi-millionaire not being able to handle shade thrown at him by fans that he abandoned and forced a move from. Player pity is revolting. Multi millionaires are supposed to handle themselves better, how is that? Not saying he shouldn't be punished but having money should not have anything to do with this.

Sounds like this has quickly had water poured over it, when in fact something quite serious happened!
I wonder what the situation would have been like had it been Gomez as the attacker and Sterling had a cut under his eye?
LFC and Klopp could strike a real psychological blow on City/Sterling by rattling their cage and making a much bigger deal on this incident. Klopp should hold a presser stating he is concerned about the welfare of his players in The England Camp. I'm certain Alex Ferguson and OT would have milked this had it been one of their players that was attacked by a fellow International player whilst on International duty!

It's great and all that we can be the moral victors BUT haven't we been that for the last 30 years? coincidentally mirroring our time without a Top Flight League Title. Unfortunately in Football the good guys don't get trophies for being morally superior. I would put it that the dark arts have been used consistently by winners over this time.

Do you really think the whole world is against us? If yes you have a serious problem

Dark arts as in any little molehill made into a mountain to unsettle rivals.
Recent example: Pep trying to unsettle our most consistent player this season prior to our last game. Do you not think City / Pep would be up in arms now if it had been Gomez the aggressor and landed one on Sterling? They’d be all over the media with it.

Gomez appealed for Southgate to be lenient. Sterling has stuck up for Gomez when he got booed by England fans following the incident, talking full responsibility. It should be left there.
