They might for a record fee but we don't pay that kind of money unless we sell at a record fee or have new owners. Highly unlikely though.
We rarely buy from the top European teams, usually it's from the second tier teams like Roma etc, as we will not pay the money needed to prise them away from the top clubs like a RM would, if we wanted De Ligt,
we needed to sign him in the summer from Ajax, unless he fails at Juve, then we might be able to pick him up in a few years, but the fans will then complain we are signing a failed player who couldn't make it at a big club!
