We'll have to sell before we buy and judging on prev recent windows nobody wants the likes of Studge or Moreno...don't know if Mignolet will attract much?

FSG would have to change their blueprint if anything more is to be spent. It's likely they'll carry on with their recent layaway BS...VVD after 6 months...Keita after a year!

We wanted to buy Keita last summer, so I don’t think his fee will come out of this summers budget. There’s also the £140m we got for Coutinho, if the VVD money came out of that then we’re still £65m up on that deal. With CL money the minimum we should have to spend is £100m.

Fekir is rumoured to be £60m, so if that leaves only £40m before sales then we need to spend it very wisely

The video footage when Fekir goes off on 84 mins suggests it was set up for the fans to give him a send off!
At the final whistle Fekir drops to the ground on the side of the pitch kissing the ground in a religious manner to suggest he was thanking whomever.

CL revenue already has netted us 70m alone...we've also netted about 145m from prem and tv money this season.
60m for Fekir takes our 18/19 transfer net total to -114m "IF" it's us that Fekir is signing for?

Report: Liverpool want Milan prodigy Gianluigi Donnarumma in £40m cash-plus-player deal

Premier League giants Liverpool are reportedly desperate to lure Gianluigi Donnarumma to Anfield from Serie A outfit AC Milan.

Gianluigi Donnarumma of AC Milan salutes the fans at the end of the Serie A match between AC Milan and Bologna FC at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on December 10, 2017 in Milan, Italy.

It hasn’t been the easiest of seasons for Gianluigi Donnarumma. A campaign which began with AC Milan fans turning on him publically amid drawn-out negotiations over a new contract ended with two horror moments in the 4-0 Coppa Italia defeat to Juventus.

But Donnarumma is still the best young goalkeeper in world football and will take over as Italy’s number one at the age of just 19 with the legendary Gianluigi Buffon announcing his retirement from international football after two decades of service.

Reports have continued to link this teen sensation with a move away from the San Siro, however. And Premier League giants Liverpool have suddenly emerged in recent weeks as perhaps his most likely destination should he part company with Milan.

Calciomercato is reporting that The Reds are so enamoured with Donnarumma that they are willing to pay Milan £40 million and let the Serie A giants sign a player of their choosing, within reason of course, as part of a cash-plus-player deal.

Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool laughs during a press conference ahead of the UEFA Europa League Semi-Final Second Leg match against Villarreal at Melwood Training Ground on May 4, 2016...

It will be interesting to see, for example, whether Liverpool would be keen to offer Simon Mignolet as a sweetener. The Belgian shot-stopper is expected to leave Anfield anyway after losing his place between the sticks to the improving yet still erratic Loris Karius.

An initial £40 million fee would make Donnarumma the most expensive goalkeeper in footballing history.

Go for it i say, and if that means knocking a tenner off the asking price by offering Mign, get it done.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

We have one more gigantic game. We need to put all our energy and resources into that before we sign anybody.

Good comments. Have the owners or Klopp talked about available funds for recruitments?

After paying for Keita I reckon we will still have about 120m to spend before selling, 70m from CL and 50m left from Coutinho's sale.
