if we want a polish player, we could go for Grzegorz Krychowiak, the sevilla DM, no vision whatsoever, but defensively strong.
i dont see it as cutting corners this strikers me as a klopp deal, a unknown player who looks like a prospect that he can turn into a star
i have watched him play quite a few times before he was linked with us and i was very impressed with him

for me has to be a class player ready for 1st team as soon as hes bought! worry about potential later at this stage
yes, but we also need young players and depth look at JK at dortmund what he did with the first team there, relative unknowns...some of the best in the world now
The issue we have is that we don't have enough goals from midfield. If Dortmund is the standard for which kloop is measuring us, then u will immediately noticed that Lucas, Milner, Allan et al haven't contributed enough.
That said I am not sure how this lad will help. We need goals, speed and intelligence in the centre. That will change but it might be a slow process.
I don't see why we should expect more goals from midfield if our wingers/strikers aren't being prolific. Look how prolific that chelsea team used to be. Well we could score more goals from our mid if you wanted, through coutinho etc, but we'd be playing a different style of football. Can has more goals in him, and I'd like to see him testing the keeper more, 2 goals 24 apps from CM, averaging 0.9 shots per game in the PL. Milner has also scored this season 3 goals 19 apps from CM, average 1.2 shots per game. We can't just expect the complete package instantly, I'm personally not expecting much more goals from CM next season. Lampard is the undisputed king of goals from CM, he's had the freedom to go forward and join chelsea attacks. and has developed an instinct of where to be, and where the space is to get the goals.
klopp can do all the tapping he wants if he is sure, and prepared for some backlash next season if he doesn't do what danny murphy said, and sign a combination of ready made quality and promise, doesn't mean he has to sign a lot of players, as the former liverpool man said he doesn't think he'll sign that many new players. interesting clip that on the beeb, I think a lot of liverpool fans should echo danny's thoughts
sorry about the lamps vid btw, just annoyed when people talk about goals from mid, they're right though, look at how a few of the man city players, like yaya toure, fernando have chipped in for man city this season, it would help, just can't imagine how we're going to improve it so drastically which is frustrating

Milner hasnt contributed enough??? he has the most goals/assists this season for liverpool football club....
